Welcome to the Department of Textile Engineering
The Department of Textile Engineering is one of the founding departments of Bogura Science and Technology University (BSTU). The department currently offers a Bachelor of Science (Engineering) in Textile Engineering and a Master of Science (Engineering) in Textile Engineering.
This department stands out by combining core textile engineering principles with modern advancements in textile manufacturing, smart textiles, sustainable fabric production, and industrial automation.
Guided by a team of highly qualified and research-oriented faculty members, the department is equipped with state-of-the-art laboratories, weaving and knitting labs, dyeing and finishing facilities, and research centers, providing students with hands-on experience and preparing them for careers in textile industries, research and development, quality control, and innovation in technical textiles.
